Happy Trials Tuesday
Not sure if the formal announcement went out or not but the support team for the TdN has been decided. Very excited to have 6 support members for the team. Each team of 3 is allowed 2 minders and a manager on the loop. Our support team for this year will be Alan Vidal, Steve Day, Christy Williams Richards, Jean-Felix Fortin, Felix Fortin-Belanger and Paul-Yvan Belanger. Alan and Jean-Felix both live in France which is a huge help for logistics and cost. We are having our first all member team meeting tomorrow it will be an early morning call for BC as there is an 8 hr time difference with France.
Jenn has done a great job of putting a sponsorship package together for anyone interested in sponsoring the team – Please be sure to let us know if you can think of any company(s) that may be interested in being part of such a great opportunity so we can send them the package.
On the website front, I have started putting more results on the new webpage. I really like the format that some of the clubs use out West. I took one that Don had sent and added his write up and a picture all in the same excel sheet. If everyone used the same format it would be really helpful especially if we ever get around to importing all the results into a database at some point.
I also tossed up a link to past results for the TdN onto the new webpage. I think it is great to be able to have this sort of Canadian Trials history all in one spot for our future reference. CANADA (trialonline.org)
The women’s training camp in BC is a go for this weekend !!! Can’t wait to hear how it goes and hopefully some great pictures from both days !
The women’s training camp in Ottawa May 13-14 will also be here before we know it so please spread the word.
On the local front (NS) – We are starting weekly practice again (going to try Sundays mornings for a bit) – Yeah !!!
